The purpose of 50 Legs is to help amputees with the necessary care and prosthetics that they could not otherwise afford, to help them live a happier and healthier life, to advocate for amputee's needs for proper prosthetics and foster public education and awareness.
RESOURCES FOR FUNDING PROSTHETICS
Because of the experience that "Boston" Bill Hansbury had as a positive outcome of his surgery and fittings, Prosthetist Mike Rieth and Hansbury’s surgeon asked Bill to play a larger role in the process. Bill formed this non-profit organization to help other amputee's achieve all their possibliites!
The Matthew Baldwin Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about lawn mower safety. My name is Roy Baldwin and I founded this non-profit organization in 2008 after my four year old son, Matthew, was involved in a lawn mower accident and lost his right leg above the knee.
